I am back ..

I have sent an SOS to my son-in-law Palforce to rescue me and tell me how to re-access my blog and start posting again.
Here I am .. once again.. a bit older than before, I don't feel any wiser, but all in all.. I am OK.
I was reading my blog entries and thinking.. Oh Dear.. sure enough it won't attract readers. Who wants to hear a political lecture? True. But politics is life.. especially in our region. You can't escape what is happening in Iraq, or in Lebanon. You can't help watching the news and thinking.. it is so depressing. But I have something interesting to tell.
Few days ago, a very dear friend of mine came from the West Bank to visit us in Jordan. In this country, people don't realize how lucky we are. We just take everything for granted. My friend, a physician by profession, visit the Amal Cancer Centre, and was simply taken back by the facility itself. "It is better than any similar places I have been to," he commented.
People come into Jordan every day and leave. They like this or that, or perhaps, may have had bad experiences. But we should never lose sight. We have real good stuff in our country. Something else. Everybody here in Jordan talk about the hiked prices of everything. It is really sad for us all. I suffer too. But.. I just heard somebody who came from Damascus say.. all prices are up. Another visited Lebanon recently came back with the same alarming comment. It is sad.. but.. it is everywhere. We have to face it. How? Well, by changing our lifestyles. We need to re-think our consumptions and adjust according to our new realities. It is hard I know. But.. it is doable.
There is no way out.. we should do it.
